Book of the Month: Don’t Make Me Think

About a year ago, I was looking for a web usability book to buy. I visited several websites and blogs and almost all of them mention the same title as the best web usability book on the planet.

The title of the book, “Don’t Make Me Think” is also the 1st law of usability according to Steve Krug. He does not mean we treat our visitors as dumb rather he makes a case for making things obvious and unambiguous. For example, how many websites have you visited that forced you to ask these questions:

Is this a link?
Is this a button?
Did it create the account or not?

The book is only 195 pages and includes screenshots in full color. I’m sure you will learn a lot on web usability after reading this book. Learn more about the book and read other reviews.
